Update #2 and #3

The first update was simple. She was hooked up and ready to go and the incision was being made. It's been about two hours since and we just got the update saying they made it through the scar tissue (two hours of getting through the scar tissue! Holy crap!) They're starting the repair now and Dr. Echauser's portion of the pacemaker stuff will follow. Through it all she has done well.
Andrew and I are doing ok. Waiting is hard but each positive update helps. We ran into some technical difficulties and can't watch Big Bang which is rather frustrating, so I am basically just sitting on facebook and enjoying all the support pouring our way. I'll never understand how Andrew can focus on reading right now but he is. He is much better at compartmentalizing.
