Poor Abby. I've gotten horrible at blogging. Hopefully the dates of her progress will reflect in IG because they're obviously not documented well here.
So, Abby has been growing a ton and exhausting me even more. She is a crawling maniac and gets going to fast that she often face plants. It's hilarious. Especially because she'll lay on her stomach pop her head back up and start kicking and giggling. She particularly loves crawling after Henrietta. Thay have a nice game of cat and mouse going. Poor Henrietta doesn't love being the mouse though.
She gets into everything. We're all gunna die in our sleep because she keeps unplugging our carbon monoxide detector. She loves cords and plugs and it's all I can do to keep her from electrocuting herself. Seriously, she tries playing with the plug, I flick her hand, she cries and while crying tried to play with it again. This can go on for ten minutes if we don't just take her away from the temptation. She is also at the eat everything stage. This is so much harder with older kids. They have so many little toys and, of course, Abby's favorite place to crawl to is Ella and Liv's room. We try to keep the door closed but Liv never remembers to close it. So far we have't had to perform the heimlich though so...there's that.
Abby has gone from being my easiest baby to my hardest. She is into everything! She's stopped sleeping through the night (big giant boo hoo from me) And she won't settle for anything. She's always moving. Luckily, she loves the touchy feely books so we can get her to sit still for a bit with those. Other than that, she's moving.
Abigail still loves Liv and Mom the best. She laughs the most for Liv and snuggles the most (only when she's tired) with mom. She loves playing with dad best though. She particularly loves his whiskers.
Abby has six teeth now (two are about halfway in, and two just broke through) and two more are close to breaking through. Needless to say, we've had a bit of a grumpy pants around here. Yeah, there will be eight teeth by the time she's one. Her toothy little smile is adorable.
Abby is also learning some tricks! She signs more every once in a while and signs please all the time. She gives high fives, waves a bit here and there, and even blows kisses every once in a while. It's adorable.
Abby is a different girl altogether with few similarities (other than looks) with her big sisters. It's so fun getting to know her, even if I'm permanently exhausted.
In summation. She's trying to kill me. But we all love her to pieces.
