Another holiday in the hospital. First Andrew's birthday, then the 24th of July. I also sorta count Father's Day since we had just barely gotten out of the hospital and I was getting the hang of taking care of Olivia without the help of doctors and nurses.
One nice thing of being back in Salt Lake is A. We had someone to take care of Olivia that I trusted. And B. We had a lot more options of stuff to do than we would have in Logan.
Still, we opted for a simple celebration. We started off the evening with dinner at Rodizio Grill at Trolley Square. After dinner we explored the mall a bit until we found the book store. We then got stuck there and purchased our presents for each other. Andrew got Shel Silverstein's Falling Up and a Cliver Cussler. I got a book with the complete set of Brother's Grimm Fairytales. Unabridged, and unedited. I'm very excited. And the best part of the night, we got a hotel room so I didn't sleep on a couch last night!!! Can't tell you how excited I am about that.
Andrew did surprise me a bit with some sparkling cider and for dessert, Ho Hos and Fig Newtons. Dessert was obviously very last minute. He picked it up on his way down to the hospital.
So considering our week, I would say we had a very successful celebration. Happy Anniversary, Andrew. It's been a crazy 5 years and certainly the best.
