The "H" Word

Yup, it's true.  We may actually make it home for family pictures after all.  Yesterday afternoon we got lab results back and it wasn't blood in Livie's stool.  Not sure what it was.  Two nurses looked at it and agreed with me that's what it looked like but I'm happy to say we were all wrong.  So Olivia's up to full feeds and now we're just working on increasing her calories.  If all goes well and she can gain weight we'll be on our way home tomorrow.
I'm still not holding my breath because this little girl has been a little weird with her weight the past little while.  I don't know if this is normal but once they started weaning off the TPN and lipids she kind of plateaued and once they were stopped altogether she lost weight.  Then gained.  Then lost a little.  Yesterday she had lost more than I would've liked but is back up again today.  Apparently this girl just likes roller coasters with her O2 being up and down and now her weight.  Oh, and don't get me wrong. She's lost weight but not enough to lose her rolls.  She still has a nice roll on her thighs to mark the tickle spot.
