Today has turned out not so bad after all. First off, Liv's KUB/xray came back clean. Second, because of said clean xray they decided to keep feeds going and watch her. Third labs came back and whatever was in her diaper was not blood!!! No idea what it was. Two other nurses had agreed with me about the red fleck in her diaper. So it's not like I was crazy and seeing things that weren't there. Maybe it's just a miracle. Whatever it is I am so happy and we might make it home for family pictures after all!

WHOO HOO!!! I am voting that the red was some ketchup that the nurses must be sneaking her when you are out pumping! :) Whatever it was, I am SO glad it wasn't blood! Since she is gaining so well, I wonder if they would just quit fortifying all together and let her go straight on your breastmilk. So many formulas can cause issues and since she is doing great on her size, why not let her back off a little. Too many calories can be really hard for a baby to take anyway. Just my two cents for the moment. ;) I hope you get on the fast track out of there SOON!!!!
