So here we are. Our very favorite, insurance paid hotel. Ah good ol' PCH. Livie flipped when we dirt got to our room but has since calmed down and settled in. The IV has been placed and the diuretics administered. Now we wait. Waiting for a flood of pee, waiting for tomorrow's X-ray, and currently waiting for an echo.
I feel very fortunate here at primary's. Sonja, Annie, and Bonnie (the NPs over Livie's care) actually listen to me and my concerns. They are all a little flabbergasted about this issue popping up yet again. While it is common, Livie is going about it in a rather uncommon way. There was mention I a cath if this issue doesn't resolve soon.
After we spoke with Dr. Tristani (the card filling in for dr. Pinto today) I asked about an echo. I may be being overly cautious but because Livie isn't known for doin things the easy way I am super nervous about how she's handling her new anatomy. Because she did have decreased function at one point they agreed an echo wouldn't be a bad idea. I figure the sooner we catch any issues the better chance we have of an easy solution.
Now we're just settling in and enjoying seeing all our favorite nurses. Though they rent happy about us being back they are happy to see Livie again.
