Olivia is at that amazing age when she is pretty understandable, but says things incorrectly in the cutest way possible. "Lummy" or "Lucky" for yummy and yucky. "Sneakit route" for the scenic route. "Oxin" for oxygen, "stepscope" for stethoscope, Winnie the Pooh is "Wee the Pooh", and I could go on. She has the sweetest voice (most of the time) and I love hearing each new phrase she picks up. "Oh sure!" is something we hear often when she's in agreement with us. Today, she said, "Sweet!" when she placed a puzzle piece in its spot. When she's not feeling particularly chatty, we often just get thumbs up. It seems that no matter what this girl does, is is adorable. She even cries adorable. Of course, she's three so the tantrums have escalated and those aren't so much, but the good times outweigh them by far.
Olivia is loving preschool. Her only complaint thus far has been the fact that it's not every day. The girl is far too eager to grow up. Olivia is great at telling us what she has learned for the day (far better than Ella is.) I'm loving it too. Both girls were supposed to be in school in the afternoons but due to a small class Livie got bumped up to mornings. True, now I don't get done all the amazing things I originally had planned, but I get some awesome one on one time with each girl.
As for Miss Olivia's health, she is getting stronger each day. Her sats still dip, and she still can't hold her own on room air, but I do see improvement. The numbers are higher each time we test her so I'm hopeful that by Christmas we may have a oxygen free kiddo. She seems to be peeing a little less, but with her sats holding steady I'm guessing this just means she's not retaining as much as she was. Also, a good thing. Olivia will go in on September 17th for a followup.
Olivia has been so happy. She really is thriving at home. She loves wearing dresses and putting on dances for us. I'm pretty sure she can sense the change of season that is slowly coming because she is starting to plan her halloween costume. Big surprise here, she wants to be Snow White. Olivia loves doing puzzles and watching movies. She loves fighting/playing with Ella and is a perfect/stinker little sister. It feels so good to be at this point of Livie's recovery. She is healing, she thriving, and for now she is free of any complications that the Fontan can cause.
Life is good.

Words
So excited for her new dress and her new Aunt McKelle!
Bowling for her first time. She loved the shoes. And yes, those are on the wrong feet. It was too cute to change.
Livie loves strong flavors. She was helping daddy eat the jalapeno poppers at texas roadhouse.
She does still get tired and need good snuggles. I am usually happy to oblige.

She is just so perfect to me. How proud I am of the perfect little girl she is. She teaches me so much about love. Thanks for sharing her with me.
