Today, I am 26. Some say I'm old. I say, I'm still in my mid twenties so it's all good. Although, 27/late twenties doesn't bother me either.
Today has been very nice. I haven't done much of anything. I did shower. I sorta got dressed...I put a bra on. And I opened presents.
We started some present opening last night at Ella's party while the grandparents were here. From the girls I got mad gab. From Andrew's parents some fallish stuff. And from my mom about a million boxes. I finally got to the end of the boxes and such to find, from all my family, one last box. What was inside? A Google Nexus (tablet.) I held it together in front of everyone but later I sure had one of those "I'm so grateful" cries.
Today's been nice and relaxing. Andrew made breakfast (german pancakes) and dinner (ribs, sweet potato texas roadhouse style) Andrew actually held off on presents for a while. He gets so excited he likes to give you your presents as soon as he gets them. So proud of him for not. He and the girls got me the new Mumford and Sons CD, a gorgeous sweater (I LOVE fall clothes) and the cou de gras, a certificate for a manicure and massage. Couldn't have gotten a more perfect gift. I will of course wait 'til after Liv's surgery to redeem it. No use getting a massage and then being tense all week.
I've really felt the love today. A missing Harry Potter from Randi. Some gorgeous serving bowls from Tera. Birthday calls, texts and much more. Thank you all for making it a special day!
