It's amazing how pregnancy makes everything seem more. More tragic, more dramatic, more special, more important. I am feeling a lot MORE today.
I've spent the evening preparing pies for tomorrow. It's my first time hosting Thanksgiving and I couldn't be more excited.
Originally my brother and his family were the only ones joining us but over the past couple of weeks Andrew's younger sister (who just had a baby) decided her little family would join us too. Then Andrew's parents and younger brother decided to join us too. Then I found out one of my good friends had no plans and so she's joining us as well. So our small group of 4 adults and 5 kids has grown to 10 adults and 6 children. One of which will just be eating milk but still.
As should be, this holiday makes one think of the things they are most thankful for. The small crowd that will be filling my home tomorrow is part of what am most thankful for. The people that I have had the privilege to include in my life are the greatest blessings I could ask for. I come from a wonderful family. I married into a wonderful family. And I have started a wonderful family. And throughout it all I've made wonderful friends. My prayers have been answered through the people the Lord has sent into my life. Most importantly, I am grateful for the Lord enabling me to keep all those most important to me for forever.
This Thanksgiving I am most grateful for all of you. Thankyou for blessing my life in countless ways.
