12 Weeks

I'm not quite 12 weeks but I had my first dr's appointment yesterday. He doesn't have you come in 'til 12 weeks unless there's a history of problems.
In the morning I called to double check the time of my appointment and Dixie, the receptionist, asked my name. As soon as I told her she said "Oh Sarah! We're so excited to see you again!" I felt pretty special that she remembered me. All the nurses did too. Can I just say, I love my dr's office.
Onto the fun stuff. The baby's heartbeat was nice and strong. Since I go to a family practice dr he doesn't do any ultrasounds. At 20 weeks he'll send me to the hospital to get some done. Because of this I did ask him to double check for a second heartbeat. With my families history and my rapidly expanding belly I was a little worried. I knew you grew faster for the second but I wasn't expecting it to be this much faster. Anyway, there was just the one heartbeat. Wahoo!
