Cute-iful

I can hardly believe that Olivia will be turning three in two months. I go through and watch old videos and look at old pictures and sit in awe at how far she has come.
Olivia is at that fun age when she's really coming into her own personality. I learn something new about this girl everyday, and of course, she reminds me of what I already know.
The biggest personality trait about Livie is her stubbornness. This girl knows what she wants, when she wants it, and no amount of discipline, "no", or "please" is going to change that. Teaching her to clean her room is proving a difficult task. Keeping her from fighting Ella (yes, she picks the fights) impossible. Of course, there's the bright side. She is too stubborn to let her heart slow her down. I have been watching her decline slowly over the past few months. Mostly her energy going down and her not being able to push herself as hard as before. She will get tired riding her bike or walking and will look up at me and say, "Too hard. I can't do it." And my heart breaks a little. But after a minute or so of resting she's back at it, not letting it drag her down.
Olivia is a talking maniac now. She is working on counting to ten but consistently leaves out six. She loves to interrupt anyone talking to tell us about what she sees outside. She says some of the cutest things. For example, getting ready this past Sunday. The girls got to wear their easter dresses and we curled hair. The whole time I was curling Livie's hair she kept saying, "Oh! I'm cute-iful!" I about died from laughter/cuteness. If you tease Livie by telling her she does or does not like something she is very quick to correct you with a "Yes, I'm do!" or "Yes, I'm don't!" If I kiss her too much she'll yell, "Dat's enough!" She loves playing with "Pillow" aka playdough. She loves "Nocchio" aka Pinocchio, "No White" aka Snow White. She loves wearing "plip plops" aka flip flops or "lippers" aka slippers. Some of her words are perfectly pronounced and then sometimes I can't understand a word she's saying. I love it!
Olivia still cries every time we drop Ella off for preschool and she doesn't get to go too. She has been registered for preschool and is so excited.
As of late Olivia has been experiencing a few new things. She's started playing with friends (though mommy is a little more hovery then she'd like I'm sure) She helped me plant a flower bed this past week. She's found a love for frisbee. She loves helping me weed and clean and basically anything that gets her underfoot.
Olivia is such a little stinker but she has finally stopped coloring on my walls so we're definitely making progress. Maybe someday we'll get the room cleaning down too...
