Day 3

Day 3:  My heart is full today with gratitude.  Nothing spectacular has happened.  Nothing unusual has happened.  Yet, my chest is full of happiness and excitement and warmth.  The smell of clean laundry, the smell of my fall scented candle burning, the smell of bathroom cleaner.  (I've had a busy day catching up from a weekend of partying.)  I'm so grateful for my body.
Because of my healthy body I've been able to spend all day cleaning, decorating for Thanksgiving, finally hanging pictures up on the more barren walls of the house, prepare family home evening, type this, read this for editing purposes, smell the beautiful smells of my busy day, hear my sweet Livie practicing new words and Ella playing with her "raca" aka maraca, feel the pain of being on my feet all day.  All of it.
I am seriously lucky.  Sitting at 28-years-old I don't feel much different than I did at 18.  True, my hips get sore if I sit in a particular way and jumping is never a good idea these days all due to having children.  But I don't suffer from bad knees, bad back, bad anything.  Living (not to be confused with life) comes fairly easy to me in the sense that my body doesn't have many (if any) problems when it comes to functioning properly.  I rarely get sick.  I rarely have aches and pains.  And I'm not too painful to look at either.
For the body that has literally carried me through a fantastic life, created two beautiful girls, and fills out cute clothes pretty darn well I am incredibly thankful.
