7 & 8

Day 7: I am grateful for sleep.  It's easy to be grateful of the things that are rare.  Nothing is as fantastic as getting comfy in bed and just plain passing out.  And sleeping.  Uninterrupted.  For hours.  Did that happen for me last night?  No.  Does it happen often?  No.  So when it does, I am one happy girl.
Day 8:  Ella Janey.  My goodness that girl.  She is so blasted fantastic.  Last night, an almost uninterrupted night's sleep was interrupted by her screaming.  I went in and she is panicking about the red stuff on her bed.  Of course I knew it was a bloody nose and tell her that it's not a big deal, it happens, she's fine.  Her response, "But it's everywhere!"  The crazy thing is, she got blood on her sheets, blankets, pajamas, arms, stomach, but her pillow and face were clean.  So weird.  That takes talent.  She makes me giggle.  All the time.  Another interrupted sleep involved her waking up saying "I had a bad dream mom."  upon asking what the dream was about she said, "Olivia and I got eaten by monsters."  So I give her a squeezy tight (Turley talk for hug) and tuck her back in bed.  Just as she's about to drift back off to sleep she says, "It was scary...but mostly cool."  Ella has the most beautiful smile, the silliest silly faces, the sweetest hugs, the most fantastic belly laugh ever, and make my heart melt with her undying love for the little sister who can sometimes make it very hard to be loving and affectionate to.  Ella is the perfect combination of Andrew and I.  She will forever be my movie buddy, disney dance partner, and music listener.  She teaches me patience, forgiveness, and how to keep being silly no matter what.  I love that Ella Jane.
