Oh my gosh! It was amazing! We were so ready to be home, but we had so much fun on our first big vacation since we had kids. And since I kept facebook and instagram up to date, I'll mostly show off pics with small captions.
The girls did great for the car ride. We split it up so it wouldn't be so horrible and I'm glad we did. They only got difficult during the last hour or so each time.
We had a great view of the ocean from our room.
Livie LOVED the beach. Thanks heavens it was just a short walk from the hotel.
Ella couldn't believe there wasn't an end to the sand like in our sandbox, so naturally, she buried her legs.
There were whales EVERYWHERE!
At first, Liv hated the sneaker waves. Ella loved them from the start. And Gramma was good enough to play with them because it was too cold for mama and daddy kept wandering off to explore by himself.
Andrew said I should've brought a nice dress so we could've done a maternity shoot on the beach. I said, "I don't need no dress!" And this is what resulted.
