22 Months

Am I that predictable?  The stats for this blog have seen a spike in views today, so you must know my routine.  And to award my loyal readers here you go!
Olivia...This girl is exhausting.  She's a climber, a sassy pants (yup, I got two, heaven help me) a mischievous little stinker and the most adorable hooligan I have ever had the privilege of scolding on a regular basis.  I am realizing more and more how easy Ella was as a baby/toddler.  Olivia is incredibly stubborn and if we don't give in we get growled at.  It's cute but not exactly sweet of her to do so we're trying (and so far failing) to break her of the habit.  She also has been enjoying a nice resounding "NO!" in answer to our requests or scolds.
Olivia is a fighter.  Now, we all know that she has mastered the "fighting for life" thing (so far, fingers continually crossed.)  She is now practicing the "fighting for toys" and I am so ready for that to be over and done with.  Whatever Ella has, Livie must have.  And the screaming, crying, hitting, kicking, biting then pursues.  Ella screams.  Livie takes care of the rest of those...As un-fun that part is the makeup is absolutely precious.  Olivia has mastered her heartwarming apology complete with hugs and kisses.  A sweet little "wowwy" to her sister and everyone in the household is all ooey gooey inside.  And she insists on kissing both cheeks during an apology.  Or bedtime.  Or just because.  Sweetest kisses ever.
I haven't been very good at documenting Olivia's language development because she has been less than enthusiastic about it but ever since she discovered her love for Pooh Bear she has blossomed.  We watch Pooh everyday, read one of our many Pooh books every nap and bedtime and for whatever reason, it has actually sparked her interest in communicating.  Especially with intimidating us.  We have been trying for months to get her to say what we say but it wasn't until we started helping her say Winnie the Pooh characters that she responded.  And oh my word!  Hearing her sweet little voice say "Tidder" (Tigger) "Pidet" (Piglet) "baddit" (rabbit) Pooh and Roo is probably the cutest thing ever.  She's also been working on her other words and is becoming more understandable and I am now realizing she knows more words than I realized.  She just wasn't pronouncing them well at all.  She is also starting to do some two word sentences finally.  Other than the sayings she's known for a while like "Love you" and "I dunno"
At one point in Olivia's life I thought she might be a tomboy.  She just loved balls and cars/trucks.  LOVE THEM.  She still does (daddy's happy) but I have since found that this little girl is ALL girl.  Her most recent girly personality thing is an insistence on wearing dresses.  Luckily we have a lot of dresses her size that I'm not too concerned about getting dirty.  And one of the few times her and Ella can play without fighting is when they shut themselves in their bedroom and play house.  They both love to take care of their baby dolls.
Health-wise, Livie Lou seems to be doing very well.  She'll have her echo on May 1st and that will be the start of evaluating for her fontan.  I have no idea what exactly this means but after talking to some other mom's I am preparing for her fontan this fall.  Now don't get too excited/panicked.  As I said, I have no idea.  As far as I know, this could just be the start of watching her closely for when her heart tells us she's ready.  But as we all know, I am a fan of planning for the worst and hoping for the best.  So, as I do so often, I am asking for your prayers once again.  Specifically for the doctors to be inspired for the perfect timing, for Andrew and I to be comforted/calm/accepting of whatever the Lord's plan is for us, and of course (and most especially,) for Olivia to rock this next stage, whenever it is.

At her cardiology appointment.

Making faces

Love that smile and curly hair!

Big fan of A&W

And "kee-ees"

I don't remember who gave Ella this (Randi maybe?) but it is the only way we can Livie out of the tub without her screaming bloody murder.  She loves when we sing "Livie the Pooh, Livie the Pooh" to her when she's wearing her Pooh towel.  And of course, in this pic she is watching Pooh.
