Ella makes me laugh all the time. The girl is a nut! Well, let's start with a list of Ella's current likes.
Ella loves playing pretend. Most of the time you can catch her playing primary where she will announce into her microphone who will be giving the prayer and then she gives a talk and so on. Her other favorite is playing restaurant where she will sell you a $50 popsicle. Or pancakes. She even does this all with the proper vocab. Ya know, "may I take your order" and "that'll be $50"
Ella has always loved the computer animation disney's but has only recently decided the good ol' classics are pretty good. And a favorite exchange of hers because of this is now, "What do you wanna do?" And if I don't come back with the right response "I dunno, what do you wanna do?" I get in big trouble. And of course we end with a "Now don't start that again." I'm so proud! Already quoting movies. Another good new favorite has been Pinocchio. Her favorite part is "Give a Little Whistle" song. She gets the song stuck in her head, but doesn't quite get it all correctly. Her version, "Pucker up and squeeze!" Instead of pucker up and blow.
Now, let's get to the stuff that makes me pee a little from laughing to hard.
One particular day Ella was playing with her uncle Matt. He was playing with her sippy and held it over her head. It dripped on her head and she gets all huffy, turns to him and scolds, "You don't have to baptize me!"
Then, one night I was telling Ella to get ready for bed. I yelled at her "Ella, get your bottom in here!" She shows her little face shakes her bottom and says "My panties too? And my body with 'em?" Then giggles like a maniac.
Ella has also gotten quite sassy in her arguing. Andrew and Ella fight fairly regularly about dinner. He wants her to eat more and she doesn't. One evening they were having their usual arguent and she hops off her chair and says "I'm done with this" and walks off. If we hadn't thought it was so funny we might have been mad.
One particular day she was chatting with my friends mom who said something about having something written all over face. Ella looks for a second and then says "No, that's just makeup"
And that's it for those.
She's become a very bossy little thing. She's really grown into the big sister role. It's not my favorite thing in the world. I have to remind her fairly regularly that I'm the mommy, or the driver. But, I love her. She's a good girl most of the time and she keeps me on my toes.

Oh my! Look at that babe's hair! She is so beautiful with those locks and big, pretty eyes like her momma. It's so cute to read about her little personality coming through more and more. =)
