Olivia has had quite the month. She's discovered a few new loves and been learning like crazy.
First off, Olivia is minutes away from walking. She's taken one and a half steps but is still wobbly and nervous enough that she won't try more than that. She'll walk holding on with just one hand now rather than needing two. She is so close. Darn...I'll be honest, it's been nice not having her walking yet. She is a go-go-goer. More so than Ella ever was. She is pretty exhausting. I love every minute of it.
Liv has become a climbing a maniac. Stairs, chairs, the tub, etc. Liv wasn't allowed to take a bath after her cath for a few days but Ella still needed hers. Liv almost managed to climb in on her own. Luckily, I'm faster than her.
Olivia has really been improving in her communication. She still prefers to point and scream but she'll sign please consistently now (finally!) and will sign milk fairly regularly too.
Other communication milestones that she's been reaching are animal noises. Her favorite is monkey but she also bok's like a chicken, rawrs, and makes elephant noises. She says "hi" "cheese" and "amen" None are very understandable but she's not behind enough to need speech therapy. Her pediatrician said he expects her to be 3-5 months behind but compared to Ella (who was ahead) she's only 2-3 months behind.
Olivia is getting four more teeth! Her two top front have broken through and are about half in now and it looks like the ones next to them are not far behind.
Through the teething and cath Olivia has still been amazingly happy. She has a smile for everyone. She loves making everyone feel loved. Doesn't matter who you are, she'll crawl up to you kneel back and hold her arms out until you pick her up. Liv loves laughing, macaroni and cheese, apple juice, milk, her blankies and binky, and Daddy most of all.

14 Months
See, he's her favorite.
A rare moment when she's relaxing. It's all thanks to Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.
Can't get her to stay still...
Loves using a fork.
Has also discovered the joys of chalk. Both for drawing and eating...
Even immensely happy in the hospital.

LOVE MMC! We also love Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood. That Liv sure is a cutie. I agree also- my #2 is a lot more of a mover than #1. She gets into EVERYTHING!
