New Kid

Olivia is like a new kid without her oxygen. She is loving running around without being tethered. She is loving school without being glued to her teacher. She is loving every minute of it. Olivia is so happy (though still a younger sister who gets bossed around so we still have plenty of screaming.)
Livie had been so excited for her cath and getting rid of oxygen. The few times we'd let her take it off she'd say, "I'm free!" It was adorable. We're so happy for her freedom.
During Livie's cath, she had some entertaining things to say. First, over and over, she kept telling me, 'You're the best mom in the whole world." Definitely made me feel good about myself. I was telling Livie she was superwoman at another point in our stay and Livie said, "No. I not superwoman. I not grown up." Apparently she will be when she's older.
Livie is so sweet. But, she is still very stubborn. Now that we are (hopefully) past this whole fontan recovery garbage we can start getting livie caught up in certain aspects. Like, potty training and getting rid of a binky. I suspect a nightmare of a time over the next little while. I hate potty training and so far Livie does too which is making it all the more painful. Hopefully, I can muster my stubbornness and get this girl ready to be a "big girl."
Now, I've posted a ton on this girl so I'm keeping her monthly update short today. Sorry.
