Out of the teens! And what a month! Not only did Olivia have a lot going on medically but Livie has been fine-tuning her personality this month. She decided to learn some more words this month and start talking in the occasional short sentence. Of course, she's still sticking to her "I'll do what I want, when I want" mentality and chooses to surprise us. For instance, her Uncle Matt received the very first "happy birthday to you" but we still can't get her to say "milk/more please."
Olivia has been perfecting animal noises and body parts this month too. She now recognizes the animal itself and will make its noise without us having to say "what does a ... say" My particular favorite is lion/bear/anything that growls. She has the cutest growl in the world! Her favorite is growling or hooting like an owl. Though, her actual favorite animal is a "key" aka kitty. She also loves "doddy's" aka doggy's, but the larger ones make her nervous. Olivia can show you all important body parts including her heart and says most of them too. The way she says finger is adorable. Can't figure out to spell it so you get an idea so you'll have to just take my word.
Olivia is still so super sweet. She loves giving kisses. Andrew doesn't like kissing the girls on the mouth but Olivia won't accept that. She will sit there and whine for him until he gives her one. Olivia also LOVES giving hugs. If Ella is sad (usually because she's gotten in trouble) Livie will be super upset and give Ella a hug. Complete with an "awwww" Anytime Livie gives hugs or snuggles lately she has to say "awww" It's adorable. Ella also won't be happy if she's the only one with a snack. If we hand her something she holds her hand out saying "Lella? Lella?" And instead of keeping it for herself she actually takes the other cookie/cracker we hand her and gives it to Ella. Or daddy. Depends who's lacking their snack. She also gets very concerned if we go somewhere without Ella.
Liv has either gotten to that stage where she's going to be a horrible eater or it's the canines she getting. Either way, we've been having to get creative with feeding her because she's not eating that well and we gotta keep her gaining. This morning we fed her through the hole in between buttons of her sweater. She thought that was hilarious.
Olivia is just like her big sister in the sense that she is a total ham! Livie loves making us laugh and is such a cheese. She has the cutest cheesy smile and if my camera weren't so slow I'd share that cheesy smile with you.
Some of Olivia's favorites:
Baths-She is obsessed! If she's naked she will go stand in the bathroom screaming "bubble" at the top of her lungs. She doesn't throw fits often but when she does it's over not getting a bath.
Pickles and green olives- Livie seems to prefer strong/salty flavors. She'll only take two or three bites of cookies but when given pickles she will ask for more and more. More than once she has climbed into the fridge and started hugging the pickle jar. She also loves crackers.
Elmo-she's obsessed. First thing in the morning, every morning she will grab my finger and start yanking saying "melmo" over and over until I turn it on. She likes Jake and the Neverland pirates too but elmo is still her #1.
I haven't gotten picture off my camera yet so I'll post some later.
