October was a CRAZY month for us, and SUPER fun. We packed it full of halloween fun and memory making. Enjoy our memories!
Some of daddy's memories this month are of hunting while us girls chose to have a different kind of fun. We started with the "Boo at the Zoo" at Willow Park this year. There were a bunch of carnival games for the kiddos and, of course, the animals. Ella wore her birthday outfit and went as Minnie Mouse and Livie went as Dorothy. Both girls had a blast.
And of course, we were able to have some leafy fun. I told Ella to teach Livie but she didn't have to. Livie saw the pile and before Ella could show her she was diving in. The girl's had so much fun and were devastated when daddy got rid of their pile.
This year we tried out the Harvest Festival at American Heritage center. A train ride, corn maze, and a teepee. And daddy even joined us!
This year we decided to loosen lock-down protocols and went to the Peterson Halloween party all together. This year Ella decided that she wanted us to go as Goldilocks and the three bears. The girls loved the white elephant game and see grammy and bompa and cousins.
Sadly, the day we planned to go to the North Logan pumpkin walk it was rainy and cold so we weren't able to go altogether. But, I had promised Ella we'd go so we made a date night out of it. Daddy and Livie dropped us off on their way to the store and then we rode the bus back (which Ella loved) to them.
Ella had a last minute change of heart on Halloween and decided she needed to be a witch. So we searched through her dress-ups and found the appropriate attire. To stick with the theme, Livie was Dorothy. We enjoyed some trick-or-treating at Lee's Marketplace, a trunk-or-treat with our ward, and then hit three other houses on our way home. One, a house Andrew did the tile in and wanted to show me, the next, our family doctor's, and the last one/two were my good friends Jessica and Liz (they're next door neighbors)
Because of the crazy nature of October, we postponed the Turley halloween party to Nov 2. Though late, it was a blast. Once again, we were Goldilocks and the three bears, and you can tell the rest. It was a blast with lots of good laughs.
And neither Halloween or October related, but still tons of fun. This morning we woke up to snow and Ella just had to make a snowman. Mommy was glad to help and though the snow is gone, our little snow-woman is not. We are thrilled and excited for the next set of holidays!
