I'll just jump right in since I already did a post on Ella's b-day.
I really have no idea where Ella gets some of her little things. Others, I can see her brain reasoning through it. For example, I have no idea what made her think that when she's pooping it's a train and she'll say "I'm trying to make you hear the choo choo train." No idea. But then, I'll tell her to "drink up" and she'll say, "No mommy, I drink it down." Totally makes sense why you'd drink down instead of up.
Then there's my ever imaginitive girl who likes to pretend Daddy is a blue flower (since he's a boy) and his name is Megalo. Or she sneakily runs around with a towel on her head and when she's spotted she'll whisper, "I am the girl who is lost and found."
Or the absolute sweetheart who will demand multiple hugs and if daddy leaves without a hug and kiss life is pretty much over. Her favorite kind of hugs are the "squeezy tight" ones. Her birthday made many witness her true sweetness. After Grammy read Ella her card, Ella said "That was so thoughtful." And after opening presents, "Oh, that was so sweet."
Or the girl that just makes me giggle by calling pepper "black salt" or when I say "wet your whistle" and she responds by saying, "Not wet my pants, right?" Or when I ask her if she wants broccoli for breakfast and she says, "No, I need something healthy."
At four years old Ella is starting to eat more. Yay! But, she is picky, in a good way. How? Well, she doesn't like processed food. If asked if she wants macaroni and cheese she'll say no to the "yellow kind" aka the boxed stuff. But, a big yes to homemade. She also hates hot dogs and any sort of condiment. Her favorite foods include hamburgers, panda express (still), veggies, oatmeal, pancakes, cinnamon muffins, cinnamon toast, anything with cinnamon, anything for breakfast pretty much. Ella loves playing hide and seek and any other game that involves other people. She loves making new friends and favors playing with boys. She is my little movie buff. Her favorites as of now are and of the Chronicles of Narnia though her favorite this week has been Voyage of the Dawn Treader. She also loves the Lorax, Madeline, Matilda, and Curious George (tv show, hasn't seen the movie) Ella loves going for drives with daddy, snuggling with mommy, and reading with either. She loves playing doctor, doing dishes, raking leaves, playing dress up, playing in mommy's makeup, and trying to be mommy. She can be quite bossy and is often reminded that she is only mommy to her baby dolls. Ella loves treats and asks for a snack at least a hundred times a day. You'd think after not getting anything for so long she'd have given up but she is a stubborn girl. Ella is scared of the dark and is not as daring with her scary movie watching like she used to be. Ghosts don't bother her, just monsters and so she loves her nightlight and seems to love having company in her room at night since we moved Livie in with her.
Ella is one amazing girl. I love getting to know her better and better everyday.
