Best. Birthday. Present. Ever!
Four years ago today I was celebrating my 23rd birthday with a darling, brand-spankin' new baby in my arms.
She introduced us to blow-outs and sleepless nights. Fear and joy. Excitement and wonder. I have loved every moment with this insane, spunky, and fun little girl. She's earned the nickname of "crazy hooligan" and loves it. She keeps me humble and confident at the same time. Over the past four years I have gotten to know an amazing little person who loves to laugh and play and is constantly keeping me on my toes.
Ella Jane is four! I can hardly believe it. We celebrated on Saturday this year to enable grandparents and others to join the party. Originally there were a grand total of a million kids invited. Besides my two girls, one was able to make it but we made due. I actually prepared games this year and even without other kids to play it was a success. And because the other kids weren't there we were able to get gramma, bompa, grammy, and aunts and uncles to play pin the bow on Minnie Mouse.
Overall, the party was a ton of fun. It was great seeing family and Ella, as always, loved being the center of attention. Her only disappointment of the night was the moment there were no more presents to open. So, without further ado, the real reason anyone reads this blog, here are pictures.
Isn't she gorgeous and grown up?
Oh, Bobby...
Bompa was pooped
