Fifteen Months

We're a little early but this is for those who like to stalk me online (your welcome, mom.)
Olivia is introducing herself to us more and more.  Because the first good chunk of her life being all about heart stuff it had been hard to get to know the real Liv.  But now that her glenn has given her the energy she needs to really blossom we're finally getting to see just what kind of girl we have.  And thank heavens for that glenn because this girl is FULL of energy.  Let's just hope the glenn keeps up with her for a little while long!
Olivia is still into everything.  DVD's, hair bows, food, cooking utensils, clothes, anything she can get ahold of, all over the floor.  She just loves making a mess.  It keeps her happy, so I let her do it.  So, call before you come to visit.  Or just ignore the mess.
Liv loves doing stuff she knows she shouldn't.  I may have already mentioned this but she has this adorable way of being naughty and then, after being scolded, smiling cheesily at us, cocking her head back and laughing.  She climbs up to the fireplace to play in it, crawls through folded laundry, eats chalk, pulls big sisters hair, chews on cords, and other naughty things and we get the same reaction every time.  We may be in trouble with this girl.
It looks like Liv may be our little tom-boy.  It's still early to tell but already she's showing more interest in cars, balls, and such than Ella ever has.  And she's got quite the arm on her too.  While she's fascinated with real babies, her fondness of baby-dolls only last a short while.  Time will tell exactly how tom-boyish.
Some new stuff for Livie.  She has popped two new teeth (two front side ones)  and is working on two molars.  She is the easiest teether.  No runny nose, no fever, nothin' much except not sleeping quite as soundly.
Livie has also learned to blow kisses and give closed mouth kisses.  She will also help you blow kisses by sticking her hand on your mouth until you kiss it.
Olivia now says please and hi consistently.  "Hi" being her favorite and she adds her little wave too.  She loves "Hi-ing" on the phone too.  She says "mama" but usually only when she's ticked.  She is also starting to say "uh oh" more and more.  Which, by the way, is one my favorite baby phrases.  I just love hearing them say it.  So cute!
Olivia is still increasing her animal sounds too.  Her absolute favorite is monkey.  She "oo oo ah ah"s all day long.  One special noise we've been working on, and hope to have perfected by October, is "Laugh like a witch" and with a little coaching Livie will "Ee Ee Eeeee"
Olivia is also working on dressing herself.  She loves putting on hats, sunglasses, trying to put on shirts, shoes, sock etc.

Olivia is such a bright and bubbly little thing.  A couple weeks ago during sunday school Liv kept waving and shouting "hi" to everyone behind us.  Church is NOT easy with her because she just wants to go-go-go and sitting still doesn't agree with her.  More often than not, one of us takes off with her at some point to take her home for a nap.  Anyway, she was smiling and flirting with everyone all the while squirming and trying to climb up my or Andrew's torso.  After church a gentleman from our ward came up to Livie and said something along the lines of "You're just so full of life, aren't you?"  A lot of people from our ward don't know about Olivia.  Or if they know about the heart baby in the ward they don't know (and certainly don't realize when looking at her) that it's her.  Him saying that, not knowing what our life was like a year ago and what our future could hold made me so incredibly happy and grateful.  I can't believe we made it through last year.  During most of it I felt incredibly hopeful (prayer works) but there were times that the reality of it all would just drag me down.  I was naive about so much of our situation last year.  I kept myself that way for a reason but each time something new came up a bit of that naivety was chipped away and I would realize just how fragile my baby was.  Having someone tell me that my sweet baby is SO ALIVE was an incredible gift.  Olivia is my little sunshine.

Liv also LOVES playing the piano.
