Too Fabulous

Ella is too fabulous and she knows it.  She has told me so.  I'd have to agree with her.
Ella has had a crazy month filled with all sorts of fun that I have already mentioned in previous posts.  We've been left with plenty opportunities for Ella to show off her silly side and funny sayings.
Ella loves joining in conversations with mommy and daddy and we try to include her.  One particular day we were getting ready for dinner and on his way over to the table daddy stumbled a bit.  I told Ella daddy was a clutz and she responded, "Yeah.  Daddy's a clutz like mommy."
One our road trip to Colorado we passed an elk farm so of course we pointed it out to Ella.  She then proceeded to tell us, "They sleeping.  If they sleeping we can't kill them."  I'm glad to know she's not a murderer.
Most of her funny stuff happens at dinner time.  One evening we were eating hamburgers which are supposedly her favorite.  But this time she just wasn't feeling it.  So she says, "Daddy, this hamburger is no good to me.  There's no sugar."
When smelling the flowers Ella will tell me, "They smell like sunshine.  And sunscreen."
And almost lastly, I said "no bueno" and no Ella says "no boy no."
And lastly, when Ella forgets the word feather she calls them "bird leaves."
Ella is such an animated little girl.  She uses every inch of her body to communicate which makes everything she says funnier.
Ella is such a good sport.  After seeing the dentist recently she's trying very hard to stop sucking her thumb.  However miserable it's making her.
Ella has also gotten very good about cleaning her room and toys from other rooms.  She still has her moments but generally she'll do it and once it's done is so incredibly proud of herself.
Ella and I have been working on her alphabet.  She doesn't know all her letters yet and gets a few mixed up now and again but she's doing well.  She can write her name perfectly though so I'm happy.  She's even stopped making "E" look like a comb.
