Ella is in love. There's just something about that lightning scar that sets her in a tizzy. We watch the Harry Potters every Christmas break and this year we let Ella watch the first two with us. After that they get a little scary and we cut her off. She's not very happy about that but she can wait. Ever since then Ella wants to watch him, play the Lego H.P. on the Wii or anything like that. This morning, when daddy accidentally elbowed her in the forehead, in the midst of her sobs we could barely make out "Harry Potter has an owie on his forehead like me."
Other funny things Ella has come up with is when Ella is talking about binoculars. This morning she was telling Andrew and I how daddy looks out of "boy-noculars" and mommy and Ella and Olivia look through "girl-noculars."
For this next one, grandmother's, don't take offense. I promise, I did not plant this in her mind. But one morning after getting out of the tub, Ella looked at her pruny fingers and said "Mommy, I look like gramma!"
Ella is so stinkin' funny. She picks up on everything. I had a friend mention how she thought Ella watched too much TV because of all her funny things but it only takes one time for Ella to pick something up.
