Even after three and a half years he can still surprise me! Probably because he doesn't normally try to. Andrew said he had more in store for me for Valentines day, and I really didn't believe him. It's far from his favorite holiday. In fact, I'm pretty sure he'd rather just get rid of the holiday all together. He says that our anniversary is enough to celebrate our love for each other. Of course now that we have Ella I think he's warming to the idea of Valentines since we can now celebrate our love for her too. But that's besides the point. So I wasn't expecting anything. Especially since he woke up and left for work at 6:45 on Monday. He was working two hours away in Heber and informed me he wouldn't be home til late so I had a couple of my girlfriends come over. We ordered pizza and frosted and ate sugar cookies. We also watched a girly movies as is usual. About half way through our movie I hear some clunking and grinding on our front porch. I poke my little head out to see what in the world is going on and there is my man, muscles bulging, maneuvering a piano out of his works moving truck. I was given my parents piano when I graduated but we hadn't had a way to pick it up. Then winter came and we really didn't have a way to get it unless we wanted it rained/snowed on. But Andrew had his works moving truck for the day and decided to take the long way home. And now I have my very own piano! I haven't gotten to play it much because I certain little girl has been dominating it but hopefully when the newness wears off I'll get to play.
