16 Months

Ella's getting taller and faster so naturally I'm getting more in shape and tired. Luckily the house is baby proof enough that I don't need to worry too much. This past month has been more verbal development.
She's says:
*Juice
*Toto (he stuffed dog we got for her halloween costume)
*no
*yes
*bobby (her uncle)
*bottle
*tickle
*please
*more
*dad
*baby
*and she's currently working on cracker but hasn't quite got it down yet.
And I'm sure there are more that I can't think of at the moment.
When Ella can't verbalize what she is trying to say she will "sign" sort of. She'll sign and say more when she wants milk. If we ask her where something is and she's not sure where she'll shrug her shoulders and/or lift up her hands. If she wants anything she'll just starts signing and saying please hoping we'll figure it out. We usually do. She makes sure we do, though she is rarely fussy. I've been told by a few people that she has such a big personality for someone as young as she is. Lucky for me it's a fairly happy personality.
Other than her mental development her personality develops a ton everyday. She's got quite a few things that she LOVES such as:
*stuffed animals
*dancing (still)
*books
*making herself dizzy (she's learned how to spin really well)
*getting tickled and tickling
*Adam (her best friend and one of my best friends sons. And yes, she has kissed him)
*Micky Mouse, Goofy, and (her particular favorite) Donald Duck cartoons. (We're preparing her to not be scared of them at Disneyland) On a side note with this one, she watches them on youtube while I make dinner and just laughs and laughs during the Donald ones. It's so stinkin' cute!
*Singing (also stinkin' cute!)
*hiding. She's started the "if my eyes are closed you can't see me" so she'll go stand in a corner and squinch her eyes closed with an adorably crooked smile on her face. She will also actually hide behind stuff. For example, Andrew scooted her crip away from the wall one morning because she's been playing with the blinds next to her bed and broken a few of the thingy's. I didn't know he had done this so I went looking for her one morning and she wasn't in my room, the bathroom, the living room, and her usual spots in her room (behind the rocking chair or in the closet) I was getting a wee bit nervous till I could hear her breathing and kind of giggling when I'd call her name. Finally, I realized the crip was pulled out and low and behold the girl was hiding in the new open space.
Anyway, that's all the fun stuff I can think of right now and Adam (who is being babysat by us at the moment) has woken up from his nap.
