Happy Birthday!

June 11th was Andrews birthday so I took the entire weekend off. Originally we were going to go boating and to the zoo with Jake and Lindsey but the rain spoiled our plans. So instead we had a simple dinner with the traditional cake and icecream. This was my first time making cake from scratch. Go me! It turned out quite nice. Then the next day we headed down to my parents where my mother had prepared a HUGE Birthday dinner. Between that and our new little niece we had a lot of fun. With Andrew being able to hold a little new-born girl he got particularly excited for our own. So cute! Anyway, here are some pics of our busy and fun weekend.
