Update Numero Uno!

I am a horrible blogger. I have always been a procrastinator and it is clearly evident in my blog. So I will start from the beginning in blog "Numero Uno" and continue in other blogs. (This way I look like I blog all the time. Just don't look at the date posted.)
Let's start with Spring Break! Woohoo! Andrew and I were finally able to get our honeymoon. It was only seven month late. We began on a Sunday driving from Logan, Utah to Mesquite, Nevada. This split up our trip evenly and Monday we arrived in Oceanside, CA around 3:00. This gave us plenty of time for the beach and some much needed relaxing. Our room was amazing and the view from it even better. We had a nice little balcony overlooking the ocean. It was beautiful.
Day two in California consisted of an hour drive toward LA and

DISNEYLAND! Talk about the best day ever. I have always loved being a kid and will never grow up. Andrew on the other hand has been grown up most his life. It was so much fun to see him forget himself and just be a kid. It was a side of him I had only seen briefly while watching Jungle Book. Our favorite rides were Space Mountain, Tower of Terror (California Adventure) and Pirates of the Caribbean. I'm sure we would have loved Splash Mountain more if we wouldn't have gone in the evening when it was getting cold. I also was in the very front so needless to say I was soaked.

On day three we travelled the opposite direction to the San Diego Zoo. Andrew loved it. I liked it. The animals seemed to hate me. Either they were sleeping when I showed up or they urinated. At one of the monkey habitats three monkeys peed as soon as I showed up. (Not on me of course. But I was still hurt.) I think this is what made it so enjoyable to Andrew.
Day four was SeaWorld! I loved it. We of course saw all the shows there were to see and looked at all the sea animals. They seemed to like me a little better than the zoo animals did. We pet the sting rays and held starfish and we both got a nice burn. On our way home we stopped by the San Diego Temple. We didn't go through because of time but the grounds were beautiful.

Day five was back to Disneyland. Big mistake going on a Friday. It was so crowded. We only made it onto a few rides. We waited in line for the Peter Pan ride for 45 minutes. Needless to say, next time we go we will go during the week.
The next day was off to home. This was perhaps the most depressing day of my life. We were excited to get home but along with home came school, work, and worst of all, snow. Needless to say, we are already planning a trip to go back. Of course that won't happen for quite some time but we're hopeful that time will be sooner than we think.
