Poor Livie. The urology testing last month really set us back in the potty department. Olivia is wet ALL. THE. TIME. If this doesn't settle down by her next appointment we will probably be trying the bladder relaxing medication. On the bright side, she had been lying to us about not being wet and would get in trouble. We had many a conversation about us not caring if she had an accident, but us very much caring when she lied about it. I am pleased to say, she hasn't lied about wet pants in a little over a week now. YAY!
Despite the wet pants, Olivia is still a happy girl. She loves school and dance and is excelling in dance at least. School? Well, it's preschool. It's still too early to tell how much of her struggles are because she is my "lazy" kid (I hate to say that, but she kinda is) and how much may be an actual intellectual struggle. Kindergarten will be very telling. Now, dance. We started her in dance this January halfway through the year (I didn't want to have to deal with juggling that and having a baby.) So, she had some catch up to do, but her teachers said she learned their dances from last semester already. Not too shabby. I'm hoping that her work in dance will help her work harder in school.
Olivia has gotten to be my sassy girl lately for sure. When feeding Abby one day I was watching TV. Livie asked to watch something and I said, "Not until you do your chores." She looks at me and says, "You haven't done your chores, mom." Needless to say, she got the look of death from an exhausted mommy. She is also knowns to say, "When are you going to make my dinner mom?" Or other such demanding, and daring, questions. She is fearless, that one.
Olivia is doing so much better health wise this winter too. Our strict rules about flu shots and illnesses hopefully are apart of that, but also, she's just healthier overall. The contrast between last year and this are amazing. She has been a regular little girl. She has been playing in the snow as much as I will let her and when she can't do that, she is often play Wii sports. Her favorites are the sword fighting and bow shooting. She's quite good too. I really need to record her doing the sword fighting too. She uses her whole body and it's hilarious!
In other Livie news, she has officially put her wish to paper. This past month Olivia met her wish-granters and we got the paperwork. For half a second Olivia almost changed her mind and wanted a a princess playground in the back yard. We took a second to really think about it and weigh the pros and cons. A big con with the playground is, this isn't our forever home. Andrew and I will build at some point and we'd have to leave her wish behind. So we talked about that and then Disney. Turns out, the whole Disney World (since that's where they'd send us) vs. Disneyland was throwing Liv off. She didn't realize that disney world still has the rides, characters, and so on that she's wanting. So, we spent some time on the disney world website and she reverted back to her original wish. Now, if you think I am coercing her into Disney, I am not. I made sure she knew it was completely up to her and we looked at princess playgrounds too just to make sure Disney was still a go. It is. And now, we start planning. Andrew and I have realized that Olivia's disney education is limited. She had her favorites that she has watched over and over (Snow White, Pooh, and most of the newer ones.) But she had no idea who Cruella, Aladdin, etc were. So, we have declared that every Sunday is Disney movie day. By the time we go at the end of the year, Olivia should be well acquainted with all the characters she will meet.

Wet Pants
Sometimes she loves on her baby a little too much :)
Her wish granters brought her play dough and fruit snacks. She was so excited.
Livie absolutely loved meeting Chante and Madyson.
