In Awe for April

It has been quite the month.  Very busy, very stressful, and very rewarding.

We started out the month with a visit to my parents who were being visited by my big brother and his family.  I kinda love them to pieces.  Ella is still talking about her cousin "Eyeball" and telling me how much she misses all of them.  Even if she can't remember all their names.
Unfortunately, that little visit was coupled with a bit of stress for the grownups and I ended up with a whopper of a cold.  Cold, turned ear and sinus infection.  Turned man/smoker woman/pubescent boy voice.  It made for some good laughs once the fever broke.  Luckily my Mickey Mouse mask, though too small, still managed to filter the germs and the little ones didn't get sick.
The cause of said stress that caused said cold?  We are buying a home!  We were in the negotiating stage during the visit to Utah County but have since moved passed and were able to talk the sellers down to a price perfect for us.  The home is in Richmond, about 20 minutes north of Logan, with an unfinished basement, on 1/3 acre, and is a young home so we don't have to worry about having Olivia around any major construction.  Of course, being married to the man I am married to there will be some construction.  Linoleum and Andrew don't mix and so he will be waging war on the laundry room as soon as we close which should be on May 12th (actual move date May 17th.)  We are beyond excited to finally have our very own place.  Pictures will be posted once we have keys.  Of course, anyone who wants to see it in person is more than welcome to come help move/clean/watch the girls.
The housing stuff has taken up a good portion of time this month but we have also been busy with Easter preparations, family pictures, and a baby shower.  The latter two went well and were a blast but I am glad they are over.  Easter was also a blast but I would be thrilled if we could have some of that toasty warm weather back.  Not to mention the easter egg hunt with the girls.  Ella woke up bright and early Saturday morning (Easter Sunday is reserved for celebrating Christ) and anxiously waited to head out back to check for eggs.  Olivia was excited because big sister was though she didn't know why.  Once outside Olivia got in the spirit of things though had more fun rattling the eggs than collecting them.  Once finished and she knew what was in the eggs she realized how much fun it all was.  We sat outside in the sun and ate candy and played.  Olivia had a hard time when we cut her off but it payed off and we didn't have any vomiting.  We had our family pictures that day then headed to my parents to join them for Easter.  We gave the girls easter baskets the next morning with a few more goodies and new dresses and then joined my mom for church.  It was a fun sacrament meeting where the congregation was invited to share their favorite hymn and why and we sang each one.  Dinner after church with what members of my family who could join and Andrews brother Matt and then some playing outside in the beautiful weather then home.  It was a wonderful weekend and we took plenty of pictures but missed doing what has become our traditional Easter morning picture with us in our Sunday best.  Sorry.  But don't fret.  We still got plenty of pictures.
