Holiday Greeting and Ella Update!

My girl has stopped growing like a weed and now is growing like...well something else. She getting tall but no more chubs. My baby is getting skinny! Of course she still adorable. Luckily her cheeks are still super chubby and kissable. And as is tradition I will now list off some of her new developments and favorite things.

-Ella loves to color. At the moment I have a nice little scribble tattoo on my ankle/leg. I was feeling generous. Usually when I'm making dinner I can just stick her in her chair, tape some paper down and give her some pencils and she's a happy girl.

-Ella is such a good little example. I'll admit, at lunch time I have a tendency to forget to say the prayer but now, as soon as I sit down with Ella at the table she folds her arms. She knows we say prayer once I sit down at the table. She may not stay focused very long on the prayer and start grabbing for her food ten seconds into the prayer but still.

-Ella loves to be Tarzan. Forget what santa or any farm yard animals say, she wants to be Tarzan. She will sometimes do Santa but usually if you ask her what anything says she just shakes her head and pounds her chest and yells like Tarzan.

-Ella is also starting to like playing with other kids. Her favorite friend is Adam, my old roommate, Shannon's, little boy. She still picks on him a little but he's starting to fight back (Go Adam!) We actually hosted his birthday party because Shannon's place is quite small. Once they arrived Ella went over to Adam and gave him several hugs. She really loves her little friend.

-Speaking of hugs, Ella actually gives them now! Of course it's only when she wants to and usually it's when she's upset or tired but Andrew and I love it! Her little arms barely reach around our necks. It's so cute!

This holiday season has been so wonderful so far. I'm so blessed! I have such a wonderful husband who works extremely hard so that I can stay home with our little girl. Even after he's had a horribly long day of work and is so tired he'll come home and play with Elly Belly and cuddle with me. And on top of him I've got Ells Bells, who, even though she's been teething (finally! She's only got three) and has been a little fussy, still manages to be one of the happiest babies I've seen. And in case I don't blog again 'til after Christmas, Merry Christmas to you all! We love and appreciate all of you family and friends and consider ourselves very lucky to have all of you in our lives. May your Christmas be merry and bright!

Cute Cute! Holidays are extra fun with little ones. I'm proud of your home made gift skills too. I'm not that talented.
