Hooray! A good thanksgiving! We haven't had a real great Thanksgiving for several years, but this year we did! Wahoo! We spent the holiday with my family. Technically it was our year for going to ANdrews family but they were doing it with his mom's family. His mother has four sisters, and four brothers. His oldest aunt has 10 kids, and her oldest has eight. Needless to say, there were going to be a lot of people there and we decided we didn't want to fight the crowd. (Last time we did it with them Andrew didn't get any stuffing, the turkey was cold by the time we got ours, and we only got one piece of pie. Not acceptable on THanksgiving if you ask me.) So yeah, we went with just my family. Turkey, pie, sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes...num! Ella didn't love the turkey but the sweet potatoes were a hit. She even like the cranberries! Not the canned stuff. My aunt and cousin joined our family and she made the cranberry sauce fresh. It was quite wonderful.
For our day after Thanksgiving celebrations we skipped our traditional movie theatre trip and went up to temple square instead. Possibly just as crowded but cheaper which is alway good. It was Ella's first time and she seemed to enjoy it. At least she enjoyed the mittens we put on her and waving at everyone.
So our Thanksgiving was a blast. The only downside...Ella has learned to whine. She does NOT like being told no. Wish us luck with that...
Oh and for some reason my pictures won't load onto the computer. I'll post those later.

Oh! Temple Square! I wish we had thought of that. Now I wonder if I'll make it there or not. That would have been fun. We sat around a lot... ah well.
