So I realized that since Ella was born all I blog about is her. She is much more interesting than Andrew and I but in case anyone is interested here is what the adults in our little family have been up to.
Andrew is still working doing flooring. His boss is FINALLY realizing how good of a worker he is and how much he can do without supervision so he is actually getting his own jobs! This means he gets paid piece-rate rather than hourly. So, yesterday, in three hourse he made what he normally makes in two days! Wahoo! Hopefully this means that our new camera/couch jar might start filling up. We really want a new camera or couch if you didn't gather from the previous statement. Andrew isn't going to school right now seeing as he's still trying to figure out what he wants to do. Poor guy. He stresses so much about what he's going to do when he grows up. I guess for me it was easy since I always knew I was going to be a mommy. But since he's working full time and not going to school that means Ella and I get plenty of time with him. He might not be so thrilled about spending time with me since I make him help me fold laundry and cook dinner but he's a good sport. And of course Ella love's him. He's such a sweet daddy.
As for me I'm trying to keep busy during down time. Of course when Ella's not sleeping I'm plenty busy but during her afternoon nap and after bedtime I have lots of time. And seeing as it's been getting colder and the days shorter I've been getting a little down. So, to remedy this I've been doing some crafting. Yesterday Andrew's mother came over as well as my two sis-in-law's and we made some halloween/thanksgiving decor blocks. I'll post pics later. I've also been keeping up with my scrapbooking. As for the future of project "keep sarah occupied" I'll be doing NaNoWriMo with my big brother Jac. It's National Novel Writing Month which takes place in November. Basically you write 50,000 words for the sake of saying you did. It will most likely be crap that I come up with but it'll be a nice way for me to bond with my brother who lives one state over.
How's that! Two whole paragraphs about Andrew and I! Ella's party was a blast by the way. There was tons of family there and Ella is one SPOILED girl. Ella sure is a lucky girl to have such amazing grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. We love you all! (I will post in more detail with pics later. I still need to upload them to the computer.)
