Island Park 2010

Andrews family has a deep love for Island Park and because of that we were able to go up to a cabin that my father-in-law rented for a few days. This year was even better than the last. Andrew did a lot of fly-fishing and was the most succesful fisherman out of the 6 boys who went. (That's my man!)

When he wasn't fishing Andrew took me four-wheeling one day and the next we (including his mom, brothers, sister and her husband) went to Johnny Sack's cabin. Johnny Sack was a german immigrant who built a not so small cabin by the forks river. When Andrew originally told me about it I thought it was going to be this little backwoods cabin. It wasn't. It had two bedrooms, a good sized kitchen and two other sitting rooms. I was very impressed.
During the evenings we occupied ourselves with games our favorite being catch phrase. I don't know what it was about the group we had but it was the funnest game of catch phrase I've ever played. Between Andrew and his two young brothers, Matt and Mike, and their sister's husband, Bobby there was a good amount of goofing off. It's amazing Ella slept through all the laughing.
It was a great way to end our summer and are so glad we were able to share our last week of freedom with family.
