Teeth and Trouble!

This past month was quite an eventful one for Ella Jane. Ella finally taught herself to sit up and then on the 25th of June Ella taught herself to crawl. At first she would only go a few steps...or crawls? Just enough to get from one toy to another. Now however she is everywhere and into everything. I think I'll be moving the DVD player and stereo up a bit on the entertainment center. Ella loves to stand so she's been pulling herself up on the couch and book shelf. Andrew will be screwing the bookshelf into the wall. Needless to say I'm getting little housework done while I keep her from getting into mischief. A few days ago I also discovered a tooth coming in. It had broken through without us even knowing. She hadn't had any of the signs or fussiness so I was shocked when feeding her bits of banana and she bit me. A few days later the typical teething signs showed up. So, we're keeping a bib on her at all times to catch the waterfall of spit and tissue on hand for the runny nose. So fun...

Ella is also a very social girl. Whenever we head to town she's all smiles for all the strangers, and they love her for it. I have yet to go anywhere without someone stopping me to tell me how cute she is. She is pretty adorable if I do say so myself. I just hope later on she can at least use sense when it comes to being friendly to strangers.
That's about it for her so I guess it wasn't super eventful but the crawling and teething I thought were pretty momentous occasions. An hour and a half ago she turned nine months! I guess that's pretty momentous too. She's been apart of our lives for a year and a half now (I'm obviously counting the pregnancy too.) What a sweety!

This is her after attacking daddy's icecream cone on the 26th of June.

Look at those blue eyes! What a sweet heart! I can't believe she's crawling and pulling herself up now. She's getting so big. I guess this means we'll have to come visit...sometime.
