Day 2: One small tidbit from day one that I forgot to mention. Upon walking outside the airport Ella said, "It feels like it feels when I get out of the shower." And this brings us to day 2. We weren't in a hurry due to lack of sleep and so on. By the time we got out of our Villa it was later morning. And hot. And humid. We ate a quick breakfast and started towards Magic Kingdom. Now, when I say it was hot, I mean HOT. With the humidity it felt 99. I'm not just saying that, it's what the weather guy said. This was a bit of a shock coming from Utah which had been mid 40's when we left. Still, awesome. Now, I'll do this post mostly in pictures.
When we drove under that "Magic Kingdom" sign, I'll admit, I got choked up. The girls were beyond excited. Jabbering and talking about all they were going to do. The parking lot was chaotic for us, just trying to get all three girls situated and them being so excited, but we finally got all set and made our way to the tram. They loved the tram. Such a great "first ride." We won't say how dad felt about getting the stroller on and off of it...
So, Magic Kingdom! From what we could tell (we didn't explore that much, no time) you can get their via steam boat or the monorail. We didn't want to deal with the stroller on the monorail so we took the boat. It was amazing. You're on this steam ferry/boat looking out the window and all you see ahead of you is the castle. I didn't get a good picture of it since there were a ton of people in front of us on the boat, but the girls could see it out of the window. I was not about to stick my camera out the window for a pic.
Ella was being a bit difficult during our castle pictures. She confessed a bit later that she was disappointed. I had warned her that when you first walk in there's just buildings and the rides are further in. Apparently she didn't believe me and she thought that Disney was just stores. Don't worry, she knows better now.
When you're walking through the castle there a beautiful mosaics on the walls. It's lovely.
Olivia and Bompa had been colluding for weeks. The plan was to ride Peter Pan's Flight together. The moment we met up with Grammy and Bompa Liv latched onto him and didn't let go. It's amazing his back is still in one piece.
Thank heavens for Liv's wish pass. We got to go in the fast pass line on every ride. Some rides we were even taken straight to the front. We noticed it kind of depended on how busy the ride was.
In line for It's a Small World. Grammy hates this ride (due to getting stuck on it once) but we managed to convince her to join us. And then we had a good laugh when it got a bit bogged down at the end and we were "stuck" for a few minutes.
Olivia absolutely loved the magic carpet ride. She just giggled and giggled. For those who don't know, it's basically the dumbo ride just with carpets. Also the carpets kinda wobble a bit too.
Abby wasn't as sure about the carpets...Still, she wasn't upset.
Liv actually sat with me so Ella got Grammy and Bompa all to herself. They wouldn't look at the camera though. Or I didn't yell loud enough...
We finally met up with Andrew's mom, sister and her family and headed over to meet Ariel. Notice Liv's face? Yeah she was in absolute shock every single time she met someone. Ariel was the first. I thought maybe she'd warm up over time. Nope. She was completely starstruck. It was absolutely adorable.
Nothing like getting your hair combed with a dingle hopper! Liv's face!

And I got Liv to myself.
It was a long day, but the fun wasn't over. When we got back to the village we picked up some dinner and headed back to our villa where some goodies were left by the gift fairies there at the village. They got some Mickey ears, and Mayor Clayton plush. Give Kids the World village has it's own bunny mayor. See the bunny Abs is holding.
The girls room had the big bathroom. With the jet tub. And they LOVED it. They were so, so excited to use it.
Despite the major shock from the heat, us losing a binky and photopass, all being tired, and the massive crowds (we were told that the crowds were bigger due to people postponing vacations for hurricanes) it was a great day. Even a rough day in Disney World is a good day.
