Livie is my sweetie. She's my constant snuggler. She wants to be held all the time. And while all that is still true, she is also settling into a new role of utter goofball. I'm sure a lot of the stuff she's been doing only makes me laugh, but since I'm the coolest, that's all that matters. She will do the most random stuff and I just giggle. For instance, running through the sprinklers the other day I was having fun taking pics. I asked the girls to pose and Liv sticks her arm in the air and says 'armpiiiiiit' instead of cheese and I just laughed. See? Probably not really that funny, but I thought so. Then, last night at Lowes (we're refinishing a dresser) I asked the girls if they liked this little dragonfly hook. Livie hooks her finger and starts chanting "Hook, Hook, Hook" so I laughed but was also super proud that Livie quoted her first movie! Basically she is just a goof. A lot of nonsense stuff, and just being silly. So basically, if you know me well, she is turning into her mother. Hopefully she just takes the good.
Speaking of turning into her mother, if you know me, you also know I don't do large crowds. I have my close friends (several different sets of them) and then once I'm in a large group I kinda shut down. I get quiet and people think I'm a snob (it's true, they've confessed.) Well, it would appear Livie has my difficulties in crowds too. This past weekend we spent with my family. There were a million kids around. Liv ate most of her meals off on her own because she couldn't handle the crowds. She picked two cousins to be her safety (Emery who is 12, and Bryn who is 4) and spent most of her time with them. When she wasn't with them, she latched on to an adult. Sometimes grammy, but she was pretty busy hosting all of us, so Livie made friends with Ethan's girlfriend (my babiest brother) and Evan's fiance (my oldest baby brother.) Livie is just like that. She always finds a grown woman to be friends with. I kinda think it's because they remind her of her nurses whom she loves.
So, Miss Liv is getting ready for school as well. She's been super excited to get back to Ms. Tamara. We went school shopping recently, and true to Livie form, she has been saying, "Thank you, mommy, for my beautiful new clothes." She has been missing Miss Tamara like crazy. So much so that she had me message Ms. Tamara on FB to say hi.
So, I took a break from writing this to go to the fetal echo and kinda lost my steam. But, this is long enough, right?
