Happy Thanksgiving and Merry Christmas!

Well, we ventured out of the house this year for Thanksgiving.  With Olivia not being so little time post-op and being bigger and stronger we decided to chance it.  We decided to join Andrew's family for Thanksgiving this year since we never really heard who was doing what in my family.  As usual, I baked a few pies.  Definitely my favorite part of Thanksgiving and baking.  Dinner was delicious, as expected.  Pie was too.  It was fun watching the three Turley granddaughters play together all day.  My two sure wish Madie lived closer.  I wish they did too!  It was a nice and mellow day filled with good food and good company.
And as is tradition, with Thanksgiving over we have gotten into the Christmas spirit.  Decorating the Christmas tree the Saturday after turkey day and I've been trying to do small and easy activities with the girls as wanted.  We've colored Christmas pages, made Christmas tree gingerbread decorations, driven around town to look at lights, and read a couple Christmas books.  Nothing too fancy but fun.  We'll do random things for the rest of the month in between the parties and big events I have to have happen (temple square, gingerbread houses, the special Christmas baking.) So here are some pictures.  Because that's really what you all want to see anyway, huh?

Liv loved the pie

So did Ella.  This is her telling me how many pieces she'd already had.

Livie loved playing with Madie

We also have been having Christmas dance parties, and wrote letters to Santa.
