As Ella said earlier tonight, "Holy guacaholy!" I've got to get birthday party planning!
Liv is getting more and more fun! A bit of a stinker in that she won't eat when we try feeding her. The girl is turning out to be as independent and stubborn as her big sister (yikes!) We try feeding her and if she does let us a get a spoon in she'll spit it out, scrape it off her chin and put it back in. She just HAS to feed herself. I blame giving her solids. She loves bread, cheerios, and her newest favorite, avacado.
Liv is developing like crazy lately. She's so close to crawling. She army crawls a little and has taken a few "steps" with crawling but generally is content to roll around and scoot. She's starting to wave hello and good bye, initiate peek-a-boo, and call me "Mama." Happy dance for me! Sad face for daddy. Liv does have her own way of saying daddy. It's either "baba" since she's only managed the "duh" sound once or twice, or she pops her lips. Daddy taught her that one so she sometimes calls him that. Appropriate if you think about it. A lip pop to address her pop? Eh, we'll take it.
She still loves blowing raspberries, playing with her sister, swinging, and taking baths. It's so funny getting her ready for her bath. Usually it's after dinner when she's made a royal mess of herself. I'll take her in to the bathroom and turn on the tub faucet and she immediately starts giggling and flailing her arms.
On the medical front, Liv is doing great. We took her in to he pediatrician today due to a rash that kept showing up on her head and back. They weighed her and from her cardiology appt to this one she gained 1 lb and 4 oz. That's not entirely accurate since at her card appt she was nekked with a clean diaper and this one she was fully clothed with a very full diaper. But even then, she should have gained rather than lost. YAY! The rash is a viral rash. Which would explain the mild fever and cough she's had the past week and the lack of teeth popping through. We really thought it was teething. The rash should be one of the last things to show up. And in case I haven't said it enough, I LOVE Dr. Firth. After he had a look and listen he sighed with relief and said, "It's so nice to see it's just something any regular kid would get." It was obvious that once he saw Liv on his schedule he had been nervous.
And now, here's Liv's monthly collage!

10 Months
P.S. The picture in the top left, that's how I found her after her nap. Silly girl.

I can't express how thrilled I am for her progress. Also a bit surprised she is leaving the quiet little thing and heading towards being more extraverted like big sis. Either way, I think she's the best!
