We FINALLY got our family pictures done! Ideally we would've got them done around Ella's one year mark but alas, Andrew was being rather picky about a photographer. Who knew boys could care about that kind of stuff? Well, we finally found someone we both liked with a good price and got them done on Saturday. They were taken by Jacquel Durrant I actually went to High School with her so it was nice to actually know the person doing our photos. She did such a great job and I can't wait to see the rest. And now for our monthly Ella post! 17 months and one month to go before I get to pay attention in Relief Society and Sunday School!!!! I am so excited! I admit, I will miss her dearly but it will be so nice to learn at church again! Ok, enough of the exclamation points. This past month has been pretty uneventful in the Ella development department. She's still learning new words and motor skills and all that jazz but it's getting to the point where there is no way I'm going to keep up so I think it will suffice it to say, she is a smart little girl and is developing very well. Of course, I will share some stuff because what kind of a mother would I be if I didn't?
Tantrums!...yay...She has been experimenting lately with the screaming and tears and such. I'm hoping she catches on quickly that it doesn't work. If not, I guess she just won't be going out in public for the next couple of years.
I guess I haven't posted a ton about what's been going on in our family lately so here's a quick recap of this past month. Really there's only one major event but it was a big one! Andrews little brother Matt entered the MTC. So I guess I should say Elder Turley. He's now been there for 11 days. He's going to the Russia, Novosibirsk Mission. According to his letter a week ago he can already pray and bare his testimony in Russian. Crazy! He'll be in the MTC 'til sometime in May. We miss him already but are so proud of him. He's the sweetest kid and will make an awesome missionary! And that's our big news...that's not really ours but it's all I have.

I have been trying to find a good photographer also, they are hard to find, it seems like everyone likes to buy a nice camera and then call them self a photographer and charge you and arm and a leg to do pictures that you could do on your own.
